Here come the second set of trusses. |

There are some smaller parts that Tom, the guest cottage framing crew boss, has to remove before they can be raised to the plate. |

The crew catches them, making sure they don’t snag on batch A1. |

Once they are braced, the crew unhooks the crane cable from the bunch of trusses. |

Next the crane will move the final glue-lam beam for the barn. The previous beam has been bolted into its bucket and is ready to support one end of this beam. |

It’s hard to see here, but the crew has tied a leash onto one end of the beam, to guide it and keep it from swinging en route. |

For some reason, the crane operator swings the crane all the way around clockwise, and brings the beam up from the north side of the barn. |
