Jim and I stayed overnight at the cottage because we were going to an event today. We got up to a miserable, gray day. At about 8:30 in the morning, it started to drizzle and by 9:00, it was pouring!

It rained heavily most of the morning and on and off all day. Our poor friends, who planned an outdoor pool party, had to go to Plan B quite suddenly.

Here you can see how wet we got. It looks dry in front of the house, but that is the remains of the sand-pile, not dry ground.

I took this picture because you can see one of our cute saloon doors which will be installed in the hallway near the guest bedroom.

Kai wanted to install them backwards and I had to explain that the hump goes in the middle. I think that boy hasn’t watched enough Westerns!
